MONDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2010, TheSource.com — TheCASHFLOW is a non-profit organization, stemming from 100 Urban Entrepreneurs, that was founded by Dan Carriere, Magnus Greaves, Lucas Riggins and Ryan Stoner. The astounding organization funds urban entrepreneurs and their pioneering ideas with business essentials and $10,000. CEO Magnus Greaves and right-hand man Luke Riggins, along with BET director Kelly Griffin showed up at Florida A&M University to their first-ever HBCU Pitch Competition.

With 60 seconds to spit their grand business scheme, there was to be one final winner out of 20 chosen recipients. Cash Flow swept five successors and their respective companies off their feet and into a realm of surrealism when each were awarded with $10,000, as well as admission into the 100 Urban Entrepreneurs eight-week business mentoring program, at the final stage of the competition. The Honorees are as followed:

• Rachel Melson, Sunny Days Bakery

• Brandon Smith, Wrist’Ezy

• David Bowen, Multi-Enterprises

• Esther Spencer, Elevated Expressions

• Steven Pargett, Sensorium Solutions

Magnus Greaves was overwhelmed with impression when they ended up funding five recipients instead of one. “FAMU is full of so many great entrepreneurs… the leaders of both the school and the city very clearly support entrepreneurship on all levels, and we look forward to creating innovative companies with our new funding-and-mentoring recipients.”

If the pitch competition was out of reach or wrong-timing, Cash Flow is always accepting pitch submissions 24/7 at www.thecashflow.com. It is free to become a registered user and gain access to business-plan and investor-presentation templates!
