September 22, 2011: 100UE’s Magnus Greaves Hails the White House’s Michael Blake
SEPTEMBER 22, 2011 — For much of the past year, 100 Urban Entrepreneurs has been teaming with the White House’s ongoing Urban Entrepreneurship Summit to take our message and our funding-and-mentoring program to all corners of the country.
We’ve hosted numerous events in cities nationwide, helping spread the word about 100UE and promoting urban entrepreneurship with the imprimatur of the White House. Michael Blake, who headed the White House’s efforts to get the Urban Entrepreneurship Summit in motion, was recently recognized by the United States Black Chamber of Commerce at an event in Washington, D.C., and 100UE cofounder Magnus Greaves was on hand to help pay tribute.
“Your support helped put us on a whole different platform and took us to a whole different level,” Greaves told Blake. “This was exciting for my partners and me, but it was most exciting for the entrepreneurs we’ve been able to meet.”
Check out the clip above — and continued thanks to Blake and his team for their invaluable support.
