Height Goddess, based in Dallas, offers stylish clothing for tall women. It’s designed with height in mind — fit for the tall frame, yet still stylish. Historically, tall women in search of flattering clothes have been subjected to constant disappointment, ending up with a wardrobe that just isn’t long enough, age-appropriate or flattering. Height Goddess, operating strictly online and in boutiques, hopes to inspire tall women to embrace their uniqueness and spread that same confidence to others.
HOW MENTORING WILL HELP: “Given that I run a small business, my staff is usually just me, with limited help from others here and there,” Weeks says. “Having the opportunity to speak with mentors who have expertise in the areas I’m most concerned about is priceless.”
HOW $10,000 WILL HELP: “I’ll continue to build the brand, gain exposure and expand the line,” Weeks says. “Additional funding will help with business infrastructure and getting HG sold in more retail stores and boutiques. I’ll use the funds for marketing, as well as adding dress pants and outerwear to the Height Goddess line.”

YEARS OF personal shopping horrors convinced Lameka Weeks, 34, that she wasn’t the only one frustrated by the paucity of stylish, suitable clothes for tall women. So she founded Height Goddess, which creates clothing designed with height in mind — fit for the taller-than-average frame, yet still stylish.
Tall women shopping for clothes are often left disappointed, ending up with a wardrobe that just isn’t long enough, age-appropriate or flattering. That was Weeks’s experience; at 6-foot-1, she often found herself settling for ill-fitting — or, worse, men’s — clothing. So she founded Height Goddess to offer attractive clothes for taller women. “Through fashion, I hope to inspire women to love their height, embrace their uniqueness and spread the same confidence to others,” she says. •
